QDoes TimeLeaf work inside Slack and Microsoft Teams?
Yes. Your team requests time off and managers approve or decline right inside Slack or Teams, with no separate login. There's a web app too if anyone prefers it. The chat integrations are on the Professional plan and up.
QIs this just a time-off bot, or something more?
More. Time off is the front door, but the same plan also runs timesheets, overtime, shift scheduling, and contracts. You get a real system of record, not a bot that pings a manager and forgets the rest.
QWill my team actually use it?
That's the whole point of putting it in chat. People request and approve time off where they already work, so adoption doesn't depend on anyone remembering to open a portal.
QHow long does it take to set up?
Most teams are live in under 30 minutes. Add your people (or sync Azure AD or Google Workspace), set your leave policies, connect Slack or Teams, and you're running.
QCan I set different policies per team or country?
Yes. Leave types, accrual rules, working-days and public-holiday calendars, and approval routing are all configurable per policy, so a UK team and a US team can run side by side from one account.
QDoes TimeLeaf handle timesheets and payroll?
It tracks time and exports it. Employees submit weekly timesheets, managers approve them, and approved hours export to CSV on every plan or sync directly to QuickBooks Online and Xero on Professional and up. TimeLeaf feeds your payroll. It doesn't run payroll itself.
QWhat happens to our data if we cancel?
Your plan stays active until the end of the billing cycle, and you can export everything during that time. After it ends we keep your data for 30 days in case you come back, then remove it. GDPR export and deletion tools are on every plan.
QDo I pay for part-time or seasonal staff?
You only pay for active employees. Archive seasonal workers when they're off and reactivate them later with their history intact.
